What is Eidul Adha? It is the greatest day in the history of Islam. It is the day when Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) was ordered to sacrifice the most lovely asset of him in this world. He had a crush on his son Hazrat Ismail (AS). He decided to slaughter his son for the pleasure of Allah and to fulfill his commandments. He took his son with him to a desert and told the whole story to his son whatever he was ordered to do. Hazrat Ismail (AS) at once agreed and said there must not have been delayed in fulfilling Allah's commandments. He was almost slaughtered when Allah sent animals from Paradise and Ibrahim (AS) was informed for his great deed and it was said that his sacrifice was accepted.
